• A person with 2 diagnosis has extra considerations in managing both the diseases
• Sometimes a patient who is also having Multiple Sclerosis is also doagnosed with life threatening diseases such as Cancer or chronic disease such as osteoarthritis
• A patient who is having cancer and Multiple sclerosis, the nurse should be aware about the medications and expected side effects of both the disese
• Assessment- Diagnosis- Planning- Implementation and evaluation should be based on both the diagnosis
• A nurse should be aware of the effects of chemotherapy and symptoms of Multiple sclerosis ( In this scenario patient is having both Cancer and MS)
• A patient with Multiple Sclerosis, there is a high risk of developing Breast Cancer
• A nurse should coordinate or provide a balanced environment for a neurologist and an oncologist to get the best treatment for the patient who is having MS and Cancer
• The comprehensive treatment plan should be highly individualized and based on medical history and current treatment goals
