Advantages of interest groups:-

- They serve as a path for political intimacy.
Disadvantages of interest groups:-
- They often seek for the minority of people.
- They have a single track in mind to look at their personal
opinions and not the others.
- These groups disregard the interest of the poor in favour of
the middle and upper class.
- They commit serious crimes like bribery, fraud etc.
Hence interest groups provide both benefits and also drawbacks
that cause them to experience serious matters.
