Write your initial discussion post thinking carefully about
health reform efforts in the United States.
1. The patient protection and affordable care act ( commonly called the affordable care act or Obamacare).Rather than making adjustment to affordable care act ,president trump is proposing the American health Care act (AHCA) ,which was developed by the house of representative.if passed this new health Care act would cause insurance and health Care to return to the market potentially causing for 18million Americans to become uninsured.in addition to this president trump is pushing for a change in policies regarding public charge which would cause the public benefits such as heath nutrition, and housing programs that were previously excluded to count towards considering a person a public charge .the administration has suggested that the AHCA is only parts of its reform efforts.other proposal include allowing interstate competition in the health insurance market.
2. The failure of the Clinton plan and adjusted their strategy accordingly.the seconds that Obama benefited from a reform consensus that had emerged in the years leading up to 2009 and that included major interest groups and Democratic congressional leaders.
The Clinton plan was far more ambitious than the affordable care act ,particularly on cost containment.it included a system for global budgeting.nearly all health insurance for people younger than 65 was to be offferd through state insurance exchanges ( then called regional health alliances). There were also limits on the rate of growth of average premiums in the exchange.ACA Set up exchanges only for the individual and some of the small group market.there are no limites on premiums and no other means of imposing cost controls.so the ACA was less threatening to the health care industry..
In 1993 democrats were all over the place and president Clinton was unable to overcome those divisions.by 2009 democrates had coalesced behind the Massachusetts strategy expanding medicaid subsidizing private coverage in limited insurance exchanges and backing it up with a weak individual mandate.with a more unified Democratic party and interest groups support,Obama was able to succeed in getting legislation adopted.whether that legislation will really succeed is another matter.
3. The threat to the united states academic health centers AHCs has been reported for the past decade, signified most importantly by the decrease in the perceived value of patients Care delivered and significant reduction in direct payment to physicians in AHCs.these reductions have required AHCs to become more efficient and increased pressures to become more productive in both patient care and research.the US health Care system continues to evolve in response to these challenges and the additional pressure of increasing numbers of uninsured.ten trends for the next decade are evident.more patient, more technology, more information, the patients as the ultimate consumer, development of a different delivery model, innovation driven by competition, increasing costs, increasing number of uninsured, less pay providers and the continued need for a new health Care system.in response to these trends AHCs will have to continue to improve efficiency by increasing cooperation between researchers clinician and educator while demonstrating how they are different and better than the competition.
4. Yes some situations it will useful.because some disease condition can identify only for test or technically.so it will usefull only.but same time Also some problem also coming for technically.
