Choose one of your favorite brands. In your initial discussion post, explain what about the brand makes it compelling to you. How does the company use marketing to communicate the brand? Identify at least one way that the company could improve its brand communications. What should the company consider to avoid unethical marketing? How could unethical marketing affect its brand?
One of my favorite brands is Apple. Before IPhone there was IPods and I still have them today to play my music. Then I got an IPhone and have been a loyal customer ever since. I have tried other phones and I have always gone back to IPhone. After my brother's laptop died on him, I bought a Mac computer for my brother and he still uses it today, even though he bought a newer Mac for his college work. I am not a huge Mac user as the operating system can be frustrating for me. What I like about Apple brand is it is a high quality product and if anything goes wrong with it they will fixed it. I believe the company has done well in communicating its brand to its customer, seeing that the company is a giant in its industry and most people are familiar with the Apple brand.
The company could improve its brand communication by publishing more ad campaigns. This will enable the populace to become more familiar with the apple brand as well as its products, as not everyone will be privileged to see the apple events. In addition, since most of the apple brand communication is done by resellers or mobile shops selling the products, the company of itself can increase its brand communication through more online and tv presence.
The company should avoid infringing its product onto its customers as this will defeat freedom of choice.In addition, the company should avoid falsifying its information, and make sure that the company does exactly what is promised, thus preventing misleading information and misrepresentation of facts.
