The beautiful mind is a movie which is uplifting ti see mental disorders portrayed on the television screen in a human fashion. It has elevated the world class intellectuals to a heroic status. The story of the movie come up with a clever way of idea for Nash to fight the problem. He uses his mind to puzzle out his problems. The movie feels contrived from starting to end, a paint by the numbers biography.

Schizophrenia is a condition in which a person’s ability to think, feel and behave is affected. The exact cause of this disorder is unknown but it may be because of the combined affects of genetic, environmental and altered brain functioning factors. The thoughts and experience of a schizophrenic patient seems to be out of touch with reality. They may come through disorganised speech, behaviour and decreased speech participation. Difficultly in concentrating in one particular case and impairment in memory is another thing the patient experience. The patient should go through lifetime treatment  which is a combination of medication, psychotherapy and coorrdinated speciality care services. The treatment can help to overcome the disease conditions but cannot be cured.
