Schizophrenia is a condition in which a person’s ability to think, feel and behave is affected. The exact cause of this disorder is unknown but it may be because of the combined affects of genetic, environmental and altered brain functioning factors. The thoughts and experience of a schizophrenic patient seems to be out of touch with reality. They may come through disorganised speech, behaviour and decreased speech participation.
