AIM
The AIM is to create smart citizens who want to maximize the benefits of technology for everyone, for instance greater sustainability and energy efficiency, better energy distribution, public health and safety, and mobility and accessibility. That’s fine with governments and companies because this trend increases the appreciation and adoption of smart tech.
OBJECTIVE
The concept of a smart city, smart buldings and smart homes has been changing over the time from “intelligent” to “digital” to “smart” and to “sustainable smart” or “smart sustainable”.
All ecosystem partners - governments, enterprises, software providers, device manufacturers, energy providers, and network service providers - must do their part and integrate solutions that abide by four core security objectives:
TIMEFRAMES
The literature review revealed that the smart building and smart city concepts were developed in different time frames and by different stakeholders and, thus, need to be realigned. The most important aspect is to employ in a smart building all the functionalities proposed by the smart areas of the city and vice versa by enabling the recommended features of smart materials, smart building services, and smart construction to serve for the surrounding systems.Development is still going on for making smart citie, buildings and homes.
