Expert Solution

Unethical influences can be defined as all the internal or the external object, person or situation that influences us individual in the environment we exist and thus makes a change in our behaviour at in a negative sense or manner. These values are not appropriate ethically and are not considered to be valued in the society. Thus, the various unethical influences I face around are:

1. Peer pressure: Peer pressure is defined as the influence you feel within yourself while staying around your social group of people that could be friends, family, work collegues etc that tend to make a difference in your behaviour. Peer pressure if practiced in a negative manner and make you perform the negative activities, is the unethical influnce. Thus, the pressure to smoke, drink and other bad activities make us being a trap for this influence.

Safeguard: The safeguard I would like to use to protect myself for such peer pressure is to keep my friends group or social group small. I would like to have a small group of friends who i can trust on. The people around you influence for who you'll become. Thus, always try to keep yourself with the people who makes you to be a better person and helps you in your growth and development.

2. Greed for more resources: Apart from peer pressure, our society is made in such a manner which every is after resources or materials. Thus, the hunger for having more resources to gain and the effect of materialism has made us to be a part of this never ending cycle of greed and having more and thus, is again an unethical influence.

Safeguard: The safeguard I would like to use for avoiding such greed is the exercise of mental happiness and self satisfaction. By reading books and other notable articles, it helps me to happy and satisfied with what I have and thus makes me avoid in falling for the greed to have more resources and practicing unethical activities.

3. Cheating for money: Talking about resources, another unethical influence could also be seen among people who does unethical activities like crime, cheating and killing for having money or funds. Thus, the drive of having more money make us perform such wron unethical practices.

Safeguard: The type of safeguard I would like to use to avoid such activities are the time I spent with my loved ones. Money can buy everything but not the values you get from your family and good friends. Thus, by spending more time with my family helps me to be inhabited with moral values ans ethics to be well aware about the things I have to avoid in my life.
