Food diversity - in a nation there are many states and regions which have different living styles and different food patterns which lead to food diversity. the food in a nation become so diverse as -

1. Agricultural production- difference in agriculture patterns also lead to food diversity, most people in many regions are dependent on agriculture, they use to eat the food crops that are produced there.and easily available.

2. Climatic condition - food diversity may also depend on climate prevailing in a nation , they used to eat food which help them to cope up with climatic condition like a cold weather state will have different food habits as compared to hot weather states .

3. Geographical concentration- people living near oceans, lakes etc have different food habits like they prefer sea food , rice etc In their diet while landlocked regions will have different.

4. Regional disparities- rural and urban difference also make diversity in food as industrialization makes a lot of diffwroin their food habits.

The reasons for food diversity are

1. Economic condition- the Economic determinants like income difference, coat of living etc also affect food diversity in nation .

2. Cultural difference- every state have their own culture and tradition and they have different food habits .

3. Difference in social classes- population studies shows that there are difference in food pattern in different social classes.

4. Influence of other countries- globalization causes a major impact on food like Asian nation are more influence by Western nations food such as increase in demand of continental food, junk food, Western cuisine etc.

5. Psychological factors - beliefs, knowledge of people also affect food diversity like in many state like people in many state only prefer to eat vegetarian foods only.
