Environmental ethics refers to the relationship between human and non-human elements of the environment and emphasizes on treating them equally thus safeguarding the ecosystem. Recent times have witnessed huge negative impact on the environment because of industrialization, technological innovation, increasing population, pollution and global warming. People simply argue that humans should be given first priority thus they could use the natural resources as they wish. This particular indifferent thought has caused great havoc on earth’s environment. The earth was completely sacrificed for the greedy business of few people. There are lots of preventive measures taken by the global community such as the governments, corporates, NGOs etc. Today, we see technology coming to the forefront in taking this initiative forward. One of the most important technological drive today is renewable energy. Solar panels have started playing a huge role thus reducing the use of other energy resources such as biomass, coal etc. that pollute the environment a lot.
