1) it assist the individuals who are involved in engineering
services with the product design,
-adding of strategic color adds to the brand value and highlights
the key information,
-makes information clear and easy to understand
-effective white space ensures readability
2) The four important factors are-
-White space - The clear area of the document which has no text and
graphics. This brings neatness and focuses on the essential
information making it clear and readable.
-Written Cues- assist the readers to find specific information quickly. This includes proper usage of headers and footers, jump lines, heading, icons, as well as logos. It also divided the document into different segments.
-Graphic Aid- converts the complex data into visual form making it simpler to understand. Picture says more what words can convey and so proper usage of graphic aid makes the design better.
-Consistency - It includes elements such as margins, typeface, and indentations which keeps the data uniform throughout making it look better.
3) Too much of visual aid without better explanation through text can also lead to misunderstanding and misinterpretation of data. Long lines of text can decrease the readability. Mismatching of fonts and improper spacing of letters can also make a bad impact on the design. Wrong combinations of colors and poor contrast schemes . Dark background making the text hard to read. These are the things that can go wrong.
4) While converting the text into document the followings things
are to be ensured
-Keep the text simple and language easy to understand.
-Keep the text left aligned, with traditional format and single
spacing.
-Be consistent throughout the document with margins
-The tone of the message should be kept in mind with proper usage
of words
- Provide the relevant information and tick to the purpose of the
document. Be clear and crisp
