head start is a program started by united states department of health and human services to provide children with early childhood education, health and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families

Goals of Head start ;
The head start approach is opted to prepare children to go to schools and this helps the children that they are now ready to go to school.

  • Thes egive children physical, cognitive, social and emotional development which is essential for school rediness.
  • Children possess skills such as knowledge, literature, attitude which is necessary for success in school and for later learning and life.
  • implementing and measuring progress towards school readiness helps children know and what is needed to be ready for kindergarten.
  • Headstart respect parents as their children primary nurtures, teachers and etc hence the programs are required to consult with parents for the same.
