Explain Google as a content service provider

Expert Solution

Hello,

Hope you are having good day. :)

Here is the solution .

Let me first give you a brief description of a CSP.

What is CSP?

  • CSP (Catalog Service Provider, also known as Content Service Provider) is a company that compiles, develops and creates product lists with product descriptions, images, videos and other rich media content. CSP provides a cloud-based platform where product content is available to retailers and distributors.

Why Consider CSP ?

  • CSPs help ensure that webshops and market places are full of relevant and high quality product descriptions. As a result, customers are more likely to buy products. The more accurate the information is, the more likely it is that it will encourage customers to buy the content.

Google as a content service provider:-

Google has recently begun to attack bad content by releasing a series of updates designed to remove weak or embedded content. Panda Renewal, released in 2011, penalized content providers for Google search results that contained sub-quality articles with search engines using search engines to rank high on Google. Panda needs other ICPs(Internet Content Providers) to rewrite their content in order to be strong. In 2012, Penguin fined both original and copied content, requiring first-time content providers to review the fight against substandard backlinks, or links to your site from one another.

Google has been more than a search engine for years, but I have never seen it increase its content distribution as it did last year.

The creation of Google Play as a Google content store in March has been Google fully embracing its new role as a content provider, until this week, we have been able to purchase Google Play gift cards in stores.

But Google as a publisher and content retailer raises a number of issues.

Please give a thumbs up if you like it.
Thanks a lot.
Have a great day ahead!
