Apprenticeships are a part of the European educational systems while vocational training in the US is very limited. Describe or develop a formal training program, at the secondary level, that will be a feeder program for the technology trades.

Definition of Training:

Training is a program to enrich your professional skills, which makes an employee learn certain skills or knowledge to enhance their performance in their present jobs.

Training is of many kinds: Technology training, Quality training, Skills training, legal training, etc.

A formal training program at the secondary level for the technology trades is as follows:

  1. Assessment: Assess the type of job and the kind of technology training to be provided. And the purpose of teaching technology to the employees.

  1. Creating training material: Training material should be designed to showcase the kind of technology to be adopted or to be learned.

  1. Implement the training: Implementing the training, gathering employees and explaining to them the new or upgraded technology to be used. It includes knowing which technology to be adopted and how to use technology.

  1. Evaluate the training: Taking feedback from the employees. If they could learn from the training, was it helpful and is it easy to use such technology. If any further help is required by them to adopt the technology.

  1. Post-training Learning Objective: The learning objectives should be developed in the employees for the post-training development of skills. The employees should be given enough practical platforms to practice the technical knowledge they have learned from the training.

  2. Data Protection Training: GDPR, ISO, and other Data protection training;
