Do you think business is abusing its power with respect to invasion of privacy of consumers?
No, I do not think that business are invading of employees, because they need the information that an employee provides when they start working in order to withhold taxes and do back ground checks. And as far as a consumer goes well if they use credit from a business then they need information so that they can be billed and information that will protect their interest for payment so I really do not think they are invading either ones privacy. Surveillance is a different story, in one aspect I feel that a person has the right not to be watched but on the other hand with theft and dishonesty being so high I feel that surveillance is a good thing as long as it does not go too far, like listening in on phone conversations, or taking pictures where there should be privacy. But I feel that as far as businesses are concerned they have the right to make sure their employees are working and not playing around and if I was a manager I would like this monitored to make sure that I am wasting money on employees that do not do their job.
