Would it be better to cope with stress by changing thoughts, behaviors, or physiological responses? Would it be better to cope with stress by changing a combination of all three?
Why would it be better to change just one or all three? Provide justification.
The better way to deal with stress will be by changing behaviour, thoughts, behaviors, or physiological responses. It is really hard to bring change in behaviour despite have strong intention to do so. Thus, one needs to change his or her thoughts as well as psychological responses to finally change his or her behaviour, which will ultimately help in changing behaviour. However, bringing this little change in ones behaviour will greatly help to deal with stress. Thus, it is better to change all three instead of just one.
Some of these behaviours include maintaining a routine (this will help you to stay organize and utilise your time properly), making a kist of things you want to do etc. One can change his or her thoughts and feelings by setting a different approach to life. A person's attitude toward life really matters in coping stress. Steps to change physiological responses includes, exercising regularly, following a good diet, maintaining hygiene etc.
