ANS- Language and literacy are the elements that are important for the development of thinking skills which results in success in academics as well as non academics. Children who belong from the families that are talkative may have heard millions of words at the age of three as compared to the families who are less talkative.
Talking skills and the development of oral language have a major impact on reading. Through practice and use by time children are able to speak with little instruction, informal instruction, and children have a major impact to get success in terms of literacy when they learn in the learning environment.
Engagement of children in sociodramatic play develop scripts by using language. They merge the literacy skills of reading and the literacy skills of writing into play. By practicing these skills children are able to transfer the knowledge they have in reading texts within a school setting.
