The success of global management strategies often requires overcoming obstacles including those resulting from a changing workforce. To what extent, if any, do you believe the modern workforce should influence global management strategies? Why?
Globalization:
Globalization is a system through which businesses set up their units in other countries with a localized touch to it. It includes Manufacturing and trading between countries, Multinational organizations set up at different countries and foreign investment. The main objective of global management strategies is to expand market, Save Cost by saving labor and operational cost, build workforce and International relations etc.
Modern workforce:
Modern workforce is a set of young generation people who are employed by multinational companies and connect them through a global system of networking.
Modern workforce has much influence in global management strategies due to below reasons:
1. Typically this generation understand the working style of a multinational organization and quickly adapts to a different culture and work style and hence very important in achieving global strategies.
2. They are appetite for learning technologies and innovating through those new technologies becomes a major reason for achievement of global strategies.
3. They become more strategic by using artificial intelligence and big data concepts which are major influences for achievement of global strategies.
4. By engaging and integrating a global workforce the most important challenge for human resource management is addressed and through which it becomes easy to achieve global strategies.
