Describe the three basic tasks of healthcare economics. Explain each one with examples of tools and techniques used to evaluate it. Consider that you are a consultant with a firm that has been selected by your state government to evaluate the economic state of healthcare. How would you initiate and manage your evaluation?

Description of problem is the primary task of healthcare economics it includes the identification of the problem and then the description and the measurement. This gives us the idea about the existing facts. For example the average of 65 + years old people who visited Physicians in 1992 in America was 5.5 times each year than the 15 to 25 years old people who visited physician in America in 1992 which was 2.5.

2. the second most important thing in Healthcare economics is the explanation. In this particular aspect we are explain about the problem with a pre-existing and then we predict about its causes. This. Basically deals with the phenomena of cause and effect. For example why the percentage of sixty five plus years old people using medical care is more than that of 15 to 20 years old people.

3. the Third task is evaluation of the problem in this we analyse and make judgement about the problem what is an alternate phenomena with the same standards.

this helps in creating a process which is natural and it also generates funds for the benefit of healthcare services

if I'm a consultant and I'm asked to evaluate the economic state of healthcare in a particular area I will follow this process.
