Describe the lack of health care in rural areas. Why have you made these assumptions? What evidenced exists to support your assumptions?
In rural areas, providing the healthcare services with quality is still a problem. We can find the more percent of aged people who are living alone because their children leave to the other regions as they graduate and most of them never return. As these regions remain isolated, they are provided with the health care services by means a primary health care center with two to three physicians and working nurses. All the staff members generally overwork due to the high population and low facilities. The rural residents also face communication problem with the healthcare people and financial resources is another major barrier.
As these communities are located away from the regional hospitals, the flight services are often needed to provide the emergency care and they also obstructed sometimes due to the weather.
To solve this problem, the United States Department of Agriculture funded the grants up to $500,000 for rural Wyoming. Local medical facilities and video contacts with a specialist in the regional medical centers is provided by Nebraska, Colorado and Montana.
