Public policy - These policies are made for public and are implemented from the center for the wellfare if common people .

It starts with the identification of needs of people ,poverty line .Then people are segmented into different class like BPL below poverty line

These people are given fuel ,wheat ,rice ,sugar at subsidized rate to support their life .

Public policies are of different types

Educational

Health and medicines

Food security

Empowerment

Women welfare

Employment guarantee scheme

Tribal welfare scheme

Educational Scheme- include scheme meant at subsidized rate to pull up the children whose family can't support high fees

Government provides meals,money ,uniform and books to the student.

Health- health should be the responsibility of the state .Tribal areas government provides free medicines to counter dyrhoea ,malnutrition,chicken pox etc

Food security- government ensures food security for all people

Empowerment- schedule caste ,schedule tribe ,backward tribe people are empowered via different schemes ,policy and acts by government.

Women welfare - Government ensures welfare of women via several policies,acts and program me

Employment guarantee scheme - government have different employment exchange to look after the interest of unemployed youth.
