For instance, developing and implementing specific prevention measures to reduce malaria infection is a good example. This objective assists in identifying and implementing the right strategy that is more specific to the intended goal especially in health affairs. On the other hand, communication objective solely focuses on imparting necessary knowledge and awareness about the program being promoted such health promotion.

The difference between outcome objectives and communication objectives

An outcome objective refers to the results which are measurable and more specific to the set goal. On the other hand, communication objectives refer to the intended goals of an advertisement or any form of promotional activity or program. Communication objectives assist in creating awareness among the audience, instilling knowledge, imparting knowledge, shaping of audience attitudes and stimulating consumer desire to affect sales or promotion being conducted. However, the outcome objective can mark the measurable change in behavior of certain demographic of people. For instance, an outcome objective may be conducted to determine the change in staff health issues. It can also be used to evaluate the attitudes or emotional well being among the target audience regarding health issue such as a vaccination campaign.
