As part of cultural leadership, there are four (4) important culture-based norms and beliefs which need to be considered. Explain each type of culture-based norms and beliefs and provide appropriate examples in your response.
For having a cultural leadership, people and society have regarded at least four types of cultural norms and beliefs which are needed to be considered. These four types are:
1. Mores: Mores are typically considered the norms for the morality. Breaking these morals for example like going to the church without wearing anything will obviously offend most of the people of the same culture because it is morally incorrect.
2. Taboos: While certain behaviours are considered taboo which is a totally inappropriate and unethical acr and a culture totally forbids it. For example incest in the US culture.
3. Laws: Laws are the formalised body which makes the rules which are enacted by any state and is backed by its power. We can see all taboos are kind of enacted with the laws but not all mores are. For example, wearing a bikini to the church is very offensive act but is not against the law.
4. Folkways: Folkways are also called customs and are actually the standards for the behaviour which is socially approved but is not morally correct or significant. For example, burping loudly after eating dinner at somebody else's house.
