1. Modern America is a term that is related to the rapid changes that occurred in the American society in the 20th and 21st centuries. These changes refers to social, cultural and economical advancements and challenges that are present in the society. These areas cover individual freedom, racial equality, women's rights, social security measures, technological advancements etc.
2. Modern American literature refers to the inclusion of all the
authors into the literature field irrespective of their race,
social status etc. It also broke free from the philosophical and
intellectual ties thus including subjects from common man's life
and environment.
3. According to me literature is the mirror of life. While all the
subjects teach one how to make a living, literature teaches one how
to make a living and how to live in the society. So, literature is
a great source of inspiration and companion to anyone who needs a
guidance.
