The return of repression in modern culture and literature depicts the supreme court decision favoring Brown Vs board of education petitions discussing the claims of the people belonging to Black race. In 1954, Brown decision was favored by the repression of the black race in the south and rise of the white race council. There were economic compensations and physical intimidations to prevent the registration of these segregated people in the society. The Black race people were killed in Mississippi. There were protests throughout the country over the repression of the black race and dominancy by the white race. There was opposition in the form of mass groups and protests. Walsh in 1981 called it the sudden increase in grievances of the incidences happening with the Black races in America. John Lofland discussed the repressions of people and emotions in 1981 to signify the critical situations in life. There were repression in other fields like the political life and other areas like jobs and employment throughout the country. Later in 1960's there was repression in the field of education, business, settlement of the Black race as compared to the domneering status of the white race in many regions of America. There were incidences where the White women were molested by the Black males leading to protest and disturbances all over the country and in many regions. They were incidences of post-partum depression, stress and anxiety all over the country leading to repression of religion, caste , status and humanity in terms of their living in the society.
The other example includes the state of repression which took place in germany in 1977 after the death and murder of Benno Ohnesorg. This led to repression of the student movements all over the country leading to a state of repression. It is depicted in the movie"Subjective factor" depicting the state and mentality of men overwomen in the society in terms of activists movements.
