What are the local causes of food insecurity in your community, for example in certain population groups, poverty, illness, and disability?

ANSWER:

The local causes of food insecurity in our community is poverty and unemployment

Most major food and nutrition crises do not occur because of a lack of food, but rather because people are too poor to obtain enough food. Many children, women slept without food because of poverty that they cannot afford enough food for a day.

Unemployment cases rises day by day which leads to increased poverty and gives result of food insecurity.

If you were invited to speak to your local representatives, what would you recommend to help alleviate the problems of food insecurity and hunger?

ANSWER: My recommendations to help alleviate the problems of food insecurity and hunger are

1. Reduce Food Waste.

2. Improve Existing Infrastructural Programs

3. End to corruption

4. National policies that promote equal access to food for all

5. Food supply should be accessible and available to all regardless of caste, gender, religion etc.

6. Promote sufficient agricultural development

7. Population control

8. Improve education policy

9. Nutritional programmes should be monitored

10. To avoid faulty food distribution system
