According to Martin Seligman, Psychology should be positive but here one more important thing is that positive psychology is rather positive interventions than positive emotions. Psychology is about to identify the difference between pleasures of life and flow of life , to discover the signature strengths of one’s life and then recraft the whole meaning of work, love, friendship, parenting or play etc. Thereby deriving more flow of life. Therefore psychology is a combination of three lives, the pleasant life, the good life and the meaningful life. But in most cases we can observe the piece of mindfulness is missing. Sometimes we forgot to savour the mindfulness of life and that causes the majority of problems. To overcome this problem, we need an outlook of gratitude towards life. To make psychology positive, an inclusion of three concepts is needed. They are: 1. Psychology is as concerned with strength as it related with weaknesses.2.Psychology should be as interested in building the best things in life as in repairing the worst.3.Psychology must be as concerned with making the lives of normal people fulfilling while nurturing high talents as with healing pathology. In Present times it is widely talked about whether the psychologists are actually scientists or not. Here, we can see some negative impacts of psychology that is sometimes psychologists or psychiatrists act as pathologizers or act as a victimologist and completely forget about their mission to make people happier or less miserable. Another downsize is sometimes they forget to improve normal lives and nurture high talents or genius. Here, enhancing the productivity is the keyword. By using technology entertainment and designs we can add up to a tons of happiness and optimism to people’s life.

Yes, definitely. Psychology is a science. Psychology is a science of mental illness. By the application of psychology we can classify mental illnesses, like depression, alcoholism, schizophrenia, alzheimer's disease or age old problems. Psychology can go beyond and can solve future problems. We can use taxonomy of dieaseses and reliably diagnose them. We can solve lot of psychological problems using 'Fuzzy Concepts'. We can also use longitudinal and experimental methods to detect the illness. We can invent treatments and measure the efficacy or effectiveness of treatments. Moreover, psychology can make people's life less miserable.
