Advantages:

1) All the people are covered under single py system irrespective of the cost of the medical expenses.

2) preventive services are covered hence it helps the citizens from protecting themselves from the illness.

3) Cost for medical expenses are consistent irrespective of insured or uninsured persons. The private care can also be utilised under the single py system.

Disadvantages:
