• Same rates for people who are insured and those who are not insured
• More competition in smaller systems.
• But limited spending power.
• While larger system have negotiated lower over all rates.
• Allow medical providers to clear margins and set their own rates.
• Reduce costs.
• Different programs and compensation structures to improve salaries.

Disadantages:-

• Patients suffer from lack of access issues in some regions.
• Shortage of qualified medical personnels .
• Reduction or Elimination of single payer system.
• Unless government regulates the care to be provided.
• Increased taxation in order to establish single payer system.
• Added level of Bureaucracy which slows down access to health care.
• Excessively long waiting times for a non Emergency surgery.
