E-supply chain management refers to the process of using the electronic way of supply chain and the movement of goods and services from the supplier to the organisation (inbound movement) and the from the organisation to the customer (outbound movement) to deliver the customer value. The most important element for supply chain management is the customer satisfaction and the value that could be obtained for the level of growth and sustainability. The technology and the electronic way of doing the business has now made all of these things possible to satisfy the needs and wants of the customer:
1. Variety: Using a electronic way of having a supply chain management enables the organisation to track a variety of suppliers and the products all around the world. Thus, this enable the organisation to have a variety of choices of products and that it could be able to provide a variety and quality to the customers thereby making them giving options and satisfying their needs to the fullest.
2. Tracking System: Now, using the electronic system of supply chain management all the departments and the functions of the organisation are interconnected. Thus, the supplier could easily place the order and see where his/her product is being and can track the details of the products and the transaction as well as movement details to give the customers more effectivity and efficiency for their needs.
3. Feedback: At last, when the product is being successfully delivered, the organisation also asks for the customer to rate their delivery as well as provide a feedback via the internet services for the organisation to understand and make improvements to provide better services to the customer after.
