Various industries have their own way of operations which are based on team leaders taking phases of operations from order taking to delivery. However, in some businesses, employee innovation is all that makes it a differentiated and more opted service like in the software business of the day.

For Example, the business of Cadburys is for its chocolate globally. The businesses thus process the orders in the demand terms globally. This needs a team effort where the leader leads the operations to generate more demand for more sales. Here the leaders get the goals for the business and thus for the team members in the team with specific responsibility to make the job happen the way it is wanted. Hence the team gets the information in which the leader takes a decision that the team follows in a leader driven style of doing business.

In software companies like Google and Facebook, the employees who code for the business can come up with a brilliant idea or innovation which may have abrupt change for the business. Here the employees make their own decision as they are skilled in a certain way which makes him or her key for the team. In software, such employee-driven teams and business practice styles are best suited.
