why is transracial adoption bad for the development of children? Write a short paragraph of 12 sentences describing the Cons of trans racial adoption?
One of the most important issue with interracial adoption is the identity crisis. When children begin their life with the new family which is from another race, they would face internal struggle and external bullying as the result of belonging to another race. The child will struggle if the children who are already in the family do not accept them. This identity crisis might shatter their confidence if not settled right in the beginning. Language would be a problem if it is different. When they learn it, they would be ridiculed for their accent. Schooling will be another issue because they will be ridiculed and mocked for their difference. They will also struggle with their academic performance. The relationship with the peers will become troublesome as well. Food and cultural shock will become alright if they are small children but if they are adults, they will struggle to cope with the change. As they grow with the new family, the expectations in terms of education, social status and social behaviors that would fuel the status, will become more troublesome for the adopted child. The child will have a tough time learning the way the adopted family lives.
