how does social capital enhance wellbeing in a rural community
Social capital enhances wellbeing in a rural community. Rural communities are generally financially weak. They are also not sufficiently educated. What fuels this community is strong personal relationships or networking, that is, social capital. Social capital has ingredients of interpersonal relationships, a shared sense of identity, a shared understanding, shared norms, shared values, trust, cooperation, and reciprocity. This means that what powers a rural community is the ingredients of interpersonal relationships, that is, a shared sense of identity, a shared understanding, shared norms, shared values, trust, cooperation, and reciprocity. Together, the members of a rural community attain the required strength and courage to fight all odds. "Sharing" is the basis of having common goals and common goals promote positive relationships, strength, and togetherness. So, the rural communities are brought together by one common goal, thereby promoting social capital and reinforcing it in the rural communities.
