Review the secondary data presented in the ANA Fast Facts and describe what the results say about this sample of the nursing workforce.
Describe the purpose and the intent of the ANA sharing these results?

The next process for our study is to collect data. The research design will indicate the best data to be collected. The tools that we use to collect data need to be reliable and valid. Define these terms with respect to research, and explain why they are important.
Consider data collection and measurement methods for your nursing clinical issue. Explain how you would collect data and what measurement methods you would use.

The intent of the researcher is to design this workforce focused on the job growth rate of registered nurses (RN) in 2014. Besides, it also explained the new job options for nurses, and results showed that the scenario has been increased. The median job salaries has showed that it was increased along the number of RN. In data, the highest median salaries are in the Northeast and West, out of which 17 states (and Washington, DC) with salaries above the national media, 9 were west and 8 were northeast. Some has the lowest median salaries i.e. 10 states. Nurse practitioners were reported with high salaries as compared with the RN. Besides, all advanced practice registered nurses get higher and better salaries. The data also showed that the RN Median Salaries in Top 50 Metro Areas, includes California, highest salary (in SanFrancisco). The most amazing data is that the occupations with the mostannualopenings ranks first as compared with the all occupations that required at least an associate’s degreeforentry level. However, the highest Concentration of RNs per 100,000 Population, in California and Washington. RN population were very abundant in rural as well as urban areas with high wages with average age of 50. The percentage of male nurses are quite less as compared with the female. For registration, the education in nursing suggest that nursing school were increased along with the passed students. The nursing school capacity has been increased with quality education.

The research tool (instrument) that collected this data from different sources such as U.S. Dept. of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Occupational Employment Statistics, Health Resources and Services Administration, The U.S. Nursing Workforce: Trends in Supplyand Education, The National Council of State Boards of Nursing andThe Forum of State Nursing Workforce Centers 2013 National Workforce Survey of RNs, and National Council of State Boards of Nursing are all the standard sources for data collection. These mentions sources are the standard organization which will collect the data by doing the survey, and are accepted worldwide. The data collected from different sources are quantitative and are very much authenticated for any analysis with respect to nursing current scenario.

The drawbacks of using a survey as a data collection tool might include such as some parts the data are missing, due to incomplete survey.

Besides some more drawbacks are-

A. One potential problem with written surveys is the nonresponse bias. The experts suggest that return rates of 85 percent or higher are considered excellent, but below 60 percent might have a severe impact on the representativeness of the sample of nursing.

B. The poor survey construction and the administration can undermine otherwise well-designed studies.

C. The answer choices provided on a survey may not be an accurate reflection of how the participants actually feels and respond in nursing data.

D. While random sampling is generally used to select participants, response rates can bias the results of a survey.

The benefits of using this tool are-

A. This will allow the researchers to collect a large amount of data in a relatively short period.

B. This tool are less expensive than many other data collection techniques.

C. This kind of tool and surveys can be created quickly and administered easily.

D. This tool along with the data and surveys can be used to collect information on a broad range of things, including personal facts, attitudes, past behaviors and opinions

E. It allow researchers to gather a large quantity of data relatively quickly and cheaply.
