Given your personality type, how do you learn best? Do you miss learning some things because of how they are taught?
People learn based on their preferences, strengths and weaknesses. The differences are due to the various elements of the learning process such as taking in, comprehending, memorizing and recollecting information. Learning is most effective when it is in line with our learning style preferences.
According to my personality type I quickly learn a topic which is beneficial to others. I desire to find solutions to people-related issues. I am capable of learning independently and understanding new material. I have a high level of tolerance to high levels of learning related stress, but I prefer to evenly distribute my efforts when learning new material and avoid last-minute cramming.
I miss learning some things because of how they are taught especially related to teaching in management schools. Many concepts are being taught theoretically rather than being given a practical approach or case study approach. Practical based approach results in better learning outcomes.
