What are some things you like to do to keep your students motivated to want to learn? Or what will you do to turn a negative thought into a positive thought in your students?
Students learning includes two factors such as intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Intrinsic factors means the students are ready to self learn. External force is not needed. Some students are self-motivated, with a natural love of learning. But even with the students who do not have this natural drive, a great teacher can make learning fun and inspire them to reach their full potential. This is called extrinsic factors.
Motivation is not only important in its own right; it is also an important predictor of learning and achievement. Students who are more motivated to learn persist longer, produce higher quality effort, learn more deeply, and perform better in classes and on standardized tests.
So the teacher has the responsibility to motivate the students to learn. Students are motivated to learn when they believe that their teachers care about their education and about them personally. Therefore, they must have opportunities to share their ideas and perspectives.
