What is efficiency, effectiveness and equity in public administration?

Efficiency in public administration that converts input resources into output or in other word, public administration would be efficient when it consumes limited funds from public and meet the necessary targets or outputs; finally it builds relationship in between input variables and output variables.

Effectiveness takes strong emphasis on how we have achieved the targets of public administration, it compares the result that what we have planned for and what progress we have achieved, how the progress achieved towards meeting the targets.

Whereas Equity keeps emphasis on bringing fairness, equality and justice in public administration activities, such activities could include formulation of various practices, policies, rules and regulations, implementation of such practices, policies, rules and regulations, delivery of public services and manage various organization that work for public services and benefits.
