Option C - Environment within which the marketing plans must be implemented.
Domestic marketing involves marketing the good or service in the local area or a smaller region than international marketing which involves marketing the good or service in foreign countries and a larger region.
When, a good is marketed in a smaller scale or domestically, the differences in the environment i.e. the cultural differences between people, the climate of the area, the rules and regulations of the government are mostly similiar so one type of marketing can have a good effect in that region. But, if the good is marketed on a wider region, the differences in the environment becomes larger i.e. the tastes and preferences of the people changes from region to region the climate is different, the rules and regulations of the governments between countries and even states is different and so these must be taken into account in international marketing. Hence, the real difference between domestic and international marketing is found in the environment within which the marketing plans must be implemented.
