Four Agile Manifesto:
The four values in the agile manifesto are as follows.
1. Individuals and interactions over process and tools.
2. Working software over comprehensive documentation.
3. Customer collaboration over contract negotiation.
4. Responding to changes over following a plan.
These are the four values in the agile manifesto. They are briefly
discussed as shown below.
1. Individuals and interactions over process and tools:
In the agile methodology more importance is laid on the people over
processes and tools.
The main reason for it is that the people are responsible for the
business needs.
The people take care of the development processes.
2. Working software over comprehensive documentation:
In any software development methodologies, the slower and most time
consuming activity is considered to be the documentation
process.
The agile methodology is against the documentation process.
The agile methodology is about streamlining but not completely
about eliminating the documentation.
The software is considered and given priority when compared to the
documentation.
3. Customer collaboration over contract negotiation:
In an agile process , the customers are involved in the process
directly.
For example, the customers or the clients negotiate the
requirements for the software product that is being
developed.
Then these requirements are used and the team proceeds to further
phases.
The customer is involved throughout the process and every
phase.
4.Responding to changes over following a plan:
The agile works in iterations termed as sprints.
This allows for the changes to be effected in the next
sprint.
These are the four values in the agile manifesto.
