Disruptive leadership means the leaders who are looks things in a different way. They always focus on making the things easy for everyone. They are also try to bring the changes in the products or system the company is using. They also look for the ways though which work can be done easily and effectively. They always try to make the better working environment and better product for the market. They are always focus on the improvement.
Below are the importance of Disruptive Leadership:-
· It helps in making goodwill
If you are keep on bring good changes in the market or working environment of the company than that will help you in improving the goodwill of the company. Making goodwill is not only important to gain the profit in market but you will able to retain your good employees as well. Because new Ideas are mostly comes from old and good employees of the company.
· To attract more customers
Customers are the always look for the new things or products for them. Example:- McDonald is also serving the fast-food as others but the different thing is company in keep on making changes to attract kids with Happy meals toys. This will help them to generate more customers.
· To bring innovation within company
There always many ways of doing work in the real world. Every company make some guild lines to complete the work. but to find a way through which work can be done easily is you call innovation. The way work can be done quickly and accurately is what you call innovation. A disruptive leader always focus to bring innovation in the working.
Below are some characteristics of disruptive leader:-
· They are fearless
A disruptive leader will always fearless. He/she will ready take risk in the real world. A disruptive leader will not be afraid of telling new ideas to everyone or people. He/she wills continuous testing and checking where the market is heading and plan the work accordingly.
· They are confident about the work they are doing
Confidence is something that will make a difference. The disruptive leaders will always be confident about what they are doing and that will help the company to win from the situation.
· They can adopt changes quickly
A disruptive leader will adopt changes very quickly and make changes in working faster than others. This way they will able to bring changes faster than other companies.
· They are rule breakers
Every company make guild lines of doing the work. but a disruptive leaders will always break the guild line to complete the work easily and accurately. This make them different from others.
· They are quick and long time learners
A disruptive leaders always believe that they learning cannot be stopped at any point of time. that’s why they learn quickly and lifelong they keeps on learning new things.
· They are more responsible
An disruptive leader is fearless but it doesn’t means they are not responsible. They always know what can happen if things didn’t go per the expectation and take steps accordingly.
To explain this more I would like to tell you real example here :- a senior manager of One of the big e-commerce company was taking an interview to make a team of delivery boys. One boy from the interview came to him and tell him his idea is complete waste. That manager through that person out of the company. After 5 years that person is an assistant manager in one of the MNC. He didn’t get afraid of telling his thoughts. If that manager instead of firing him will ask his option than the story could be different. (You can delete last part if your answers become real long)
