Albert Lauterbach psychological approach towards modernization is one of the key approaches towards development of a person. There are different approaches that lead to the process of development like the culture, traditions and the customs prevalent in people belonging to a community. There are different mental and physical perspectives that define the individual behavior and identity of a person. There is a time perspective of growth and development that takes place in a person accordingly with time leading to the psychological approach towards development. There are various other economic, social , cultural, and historical events that shape the developmental process in a person. There is a balance between the internal processes and the external process that are based on the outcome of the behavior of a person during a situation. Specific behaviors are related to investment, saving, entrepreneurship, modernization that can shape the development process but can also lead to anxiety. McCleland model focusses on the childhood incentives and rewards that define the behavior of a person in adulthood. The process of development is relaed to the business ventures, foreign aid, social movements and governmental operations. There is a concept of "totalitarianism" in Russia that is considered better than the planning policies of development of personality of a person and for the development of a nation. There are other aspects of socialism, nationalism, Marxism and capitalism that focusses on the approach of development. The process of economic profit and technological advancement defines the process of development and modernization of a nation.
