  1. While few children of the age of 6 recognise death as the final event, they do not comprehend what it actually means. To explain death to a 6 year old the best way possible is to tell them that the person who died has gone to heaven. This is because most children at the age of 6 are not able to understand the concept that death is permanent and every individual that is living has to eventually die including themselves and their close ones. They are not able to understand that people who have died do not require food or water and may ask questions like why are we not preparing food for or the individual in question.
  2. The one thing that should be done with a grieving person is to make them understand that you are going to be present for them in case they require your assistance or help. One may offer food and beverage without being pushy. One thing which should be avoided is that the person should not be provided with suggestions on how to cope with the grief because every individual has a different grieving style which can vary in regards to the relationship to the individual who has died. Grieving consists of multiple stages which are represented by DABDA. A grieving person starts with denial of the fact of death and may isolate themselves from others, this is followed by anger as they are not able to accept the fact and try to show aggression to anyone who makes them believe about the circumstances. The next stage is bargaining where the individual Bargains with the society and high order authorities such as God with exchanges of the person's life with an entity which is equally important to them according to their beliefs. The next step in living is depression where the grieving person again can isolate themselves from the social social settings and may not want to indulge in gatherings. they may also show disinterest in doing activities that they normally prefer to do which usually involve outings. The final stage of grieving is acceptance and not every individual reaches the stage as many times individuals wander off in the previous stages randomly.
