1)Malnutrition Screening Tool(MST)

It is a validated nutritional tool which is using for adults in hospital settings and residential aged care facility centres. Weight loss and appetite are the nutrition screen parameters.

2)DETERMINE Checklist

This helps to identify the knowledge of an individual about their nutritional risk

3)Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool(MUST)

This tool is available in several language and is the validated screening tool for adults in acute and community settings.

4)Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA)

_This assessment tool takes less than 5 minutes

-It is quick and easy to use screening tool

-If a patient is not able to take weight and height, calf circumference can be substituted for BMI. This is the most commonly used form of MNA.

5)Subject Global Assessment (SGA)

Medical history and physical examination are the nutritional assessment parameters of this tool. In medical history it is necessary to collect weight, intake, gastrointestinal symptoms and functional capacity.
