A.corona virus :It is the SARS-Cov 2 virus causing covid-19 Pandemic.

B.origin:These viruses mainly originated in animals like bats and spread to the humans.

Corona disease first reported in in Wuhan province of China.

C.risk factors :Respiratory illness,pneumonia ,cardiac arrest.

D.who is at greatest risk:Elderely people,persons suffering from Diabetes,Cardiovascular disease,Respiratory disorders are at higher risk.

E.how the virus spread:virus spread through droplet infections. Persons who is in contact with diseased persons will get infection from their body fluids.

Even virus is active  up to 24 hours in a nOn living thing,so the surface contact may leads to infections.

F.Signs and symptoms.

  • Loss of smell and Respiratory arrest
  • Common symptoms like sore throat,throat pain, dry cough,body pain,head ache,fever,Breathlessness.

G.Treatment:vaccinations are under trial.

Now disease is treating  with anti viral medications,anti pyretic etc.

H.Measures to reduce the virus spread

  • wear mask properly.
  • clean your hands frequently.
  • keep social distancing.

I.social distancing:

Social distancing is the measure to break the chain of virus spread. By keeping safe distance with other people the spreading of the disease will reduce.

Keeping distance of 6 feet with each other,and avoid unnecessary visits to outside etc are the measures to keep social distancing.

J.resources in community:In an community places with mass gatherings are under threat.

Work places,market places,public transport systems are carrying viruses.

Research is going on regarding the corona viral disease and that can be obtained from WHO websites, Research papers published, news papers etc.
