The major economic benefit of legalizing weed would be tax revenue. If weed would become legal there would be an increase in the revenue through tax and fees. Legalizing weed would also create the employment as it would open the industry and would led to setting up of nurseries and dispenseries. It will also reduce the prices of weed as illegal dealing of weed increases the prices of it, so reduction in prices will save money.

There are also costs that have to bear if weed is legalized such as increase in the criminal activities, and expense involved in handling those activities, it will also increase the school drop out rate, increase in the number of uneducated people, increase in no. of menatlly and physicall ill people. Deteriorating the economy as a whole.
