There are many factors influencing an organization & those can be broadly categorized into two sub types

1. Internal environment factors
2. External environment factors

1. Internal environment factors: Internal environmental factors are the factor which are within the organization. These are under the control of an organization.

1. Financials: Financials of the company play a vital role in shaping the company’s future. A well-managed company would have sound financials.
2. Employees: employees are biggest asset of the organization, as long as employees of organization are happy and productive company is safe.
3. Resources: Resources of company other than human resource are also important, any problems in resources can severely alter companies prospective.

1. External environment factors: External environment factors are the external factors which is not under the control of company.

1. Government rules and regulation: Government rules and regulation play a vital role in sustainability of company. Any change in regulations of country have direct bearing on organization.
2. Per capita of the country/ Growth: Per capita income and growth of the country have direct bearing on company. If per capita income of the country is growing company would have positive future.
3. Demographic factors: Demographic factors are vital for company. Company should understand whether country has young or older generation to market their product.
4. Political environment: if political environment of country is stable then it results in stable environment of the country. Most companies would like to have stable country for growing.

About Nintendo:

Major environment factor influencing Nintendo are external factors because company has sound internal factors (company has sound financials and other resources are stable).

Company released a game called Pokemon which faced backlash from governments around the world. Many countries complained that their citizens faced many problems because of format in which game was built. Pokemon game required players to search for pokemon in external environment which resulted in many accidents.
