Dear Student,
Yes I am agree with the point that " As life expectancy grows, as people live longer, they must work longer as well."
The age we live to depends primarily on where and how we live. People die earlier in countries that are badly affected by hunger and armed conflict and that have only poor health care facilities. Here, infectious disease can rapidly become fatal, and women also die much more frequently during childbirth. On the other hand, people live longer if they are prosperous and educated and have access to health care services.
The main reason why these people live to an advanced age is better medical care. What’s more, in industrial and emerging economies at least, fewer and fewer people have to engage in hard physical labour to earn a living, which means that they stay physically fit for longer. But average life expectancy is also increasing because the rate of infant mortality has fallen across the world.

Why People must work longer
1) Jobs require less physical work. "Many people have less physically demanding jobs in today's information economy, so for some it is easier to continue working in the late of there life.
2) People in their 60s are in better health today than they were 50 years ago.
3) Good for health - There's increasing evidence that the payoff of working past age 65 may go beyond income and increase the health i.e. immunity and physical fitness of body. people who worked past age 65 were about three times more likely to report being in good health and about half as likely to have serious health problems, such as cancer or heart disease.
In some cases if is not good for health - for example below catogory people who are...
Suffering stress on the job has long been recognized as a risk factor for coronary artery disease and stroke.
If your job is physically demanding, you may have an increased risk of injury.
If you feel your job lacks meaning, if you're bored, or if you feel "burned out," that may add to stress or affect your mood.
So conclustion is that Does that mean you should keep working? "Yes, if you can," "But need to be smart about what you're doing. Don't stay in a job you hate. Try to find something that's meaningful and gives you purpose. If you're happy at work, that's one sign that work may be good for your health."
