Corporate social responsibility is a method of voluntary regulation of business with the aim of giving back to society by involving in charitable or ethical practices. It is a way of showcasing accountability by protecting the interests of society and other stakeholders.

The following are some of the corporates that have recently made the mainstream news media in relation to CSR activities.

1.Johnson & Johnson

Johnson & Johnson is an ideal example of CSR they have purchased an energy supplier in the Texas Panhandle which helped them to reduce pollution by depending on alternative energy produced.

2.Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola is an excellent example of CSR. They were, in fact ,depending on a fleet of delivery trucks that produce tons of greenhouse gases. But by using new alternatively fueled trucks the company could reduce carbon footprint to a great extend.

3.Ford Motor Company

Ford Motor Company reduced greenhouse gas emissions by using fuel-efficient engines. The company also introduced various electrified vehicles which will also have positive ecological impacts as it results in the preservation of energy.

4.Bosch

Bosch is investing half of its research and development budget for the creation of environmental protection technologies worldwide. The company also has a plan to support universities and educational institutions that are working in the field of environment, energy, etc. in Germany, India, the U.S, and China, etc through their arm named Bosch Energy Research Network[BERN].
