RESEARCH QUESTION :

Is there is any impact of Motivation on Employee Performance?

HYPOTHESIS:

H1: Motivation has a great impact on Employee Performance

H2: Motivation does not have a great impact on Employee Performance.

LITERATURE REVIEW:

Motivation means when a manager induced or inspire an employee to get the desired result then it is called motivation. It is a type of force that enables a person to use his capacity and make the best of his work. Motivation can be in the form of financial incentives such as bonuses, commission, increase in pay scale or etc, and non-financial incentives such as appreciation, growth and etc. It is a direction towards goals.

Importance of Motivation:

1) It helps in the higher efficiency of an employee.

2) It reduces the absenteeism of employees.

3) It facilitates innovation and initiative.

Two types of Factors are there:

1) Monetary factors which include:

a. Salaries or wages.

b. Bonus or Commissions

c. Incentives

2) Non-Monetary Factors:

a. Status or Job title

b. Job security

c. Appreciation

4. Research Methodology:

The purpose of this research work is to find out the effect of motivation on Employee Performance this can be done by interviewing some of the employees from a company.

Take a set of people including males, female and divide them into ages.

Prepare a questionnaire according to the research topic. It should include 120 to 200 questions which should cover all the questions. It should be convenient and less costly. It should have questions related to job satisfaction, motivation factors and performance. They should be given a time of 10 to 15 days to complete the questionnaire. People should be diversified. Data should be gathered through the questionnaire. After the questionnaire got fill and collected then finally analyze it.

5. Data Analysis:

After analyzing the data you will get to know the qualification, age, no. of males and females ratio, You have to segregate the data in percentage like how many of them were male or female and age of an individual? This will help in analyzing the demographic situation of a company.  Data can be analyzed through various methods like regression, mean, dispersion methods and so on. Choose only that method which will give you the nearest answer. There are so many motivation theories like Alderfer's Hierarchy of Motivational needs and Two Factor theory. We will use SPSS method to analyze yoyr data.

6. Conclusion:

The purpose of this research is to find out if the motivation impacts Employee Performace. The data gathered should be a close end questionnaire. After your data analysis, you will be able to find out if there is a positive or negative relationship between motivation and job satisfaction.

You can also use this method to find out the data from other sectors in the service sectors.
