All the following human resource functions contribute in a positive manner towards delivering high performance with the HR planning process:

Job Analysis: Job Analysis includes gathering information and reviewing critical details about a work. Judgments are based on the data obtained from a job in the study. Job Analysis requires both work definition and role scope, which provides an assessment of the task's essence as well as the jobholder's experience, expertise and disposition. In other words, Work Description includes descriptions of the work material in a written format, and Job specification is a written list of the skills and credentials a jobholder will provide in order to perform a job.

Job Design: The design for the job determines the role and responsibilities associated with the job, when the job is designed such that it contributes to necessary activities and selecting the right person to perform the job whose skills abilities, knowledge, etc. match the requirements of the job and he is able to deliver high performance.

Training and development: Both Training and development go hand in hand, proper training to the employees should be given to enhancing their skills which makes them capable of grabbing more opportunities to gain competitive advantage and developing their career as well along with the growth of the organization by giving high performance.

Compensation: Proper compensation should be given to the employees for their work done. Employee Relations: As it comes to employee relations, there are two main roles of an HR department. Next, HR helps with avoiding and settling conflicts or disagreements between staff and administrators. First, they help develop and implement practices that are equitable and appropriate with everyone on the job. To maintain healthy workplace relationships, an corporation will view staff of the business first as partners and shareholders, rather than merely as paying jobs. This approach allows people in managerial and executive positions to receive guidance from staff, to appreciate their opinions more highly, and to recognize the viewpoint of workers when taking decisions that impact the whole company.
