(Hint think about how executive processing might lead to action, or alternatively how sensory input might influence executive processing).

Expert Solution

1. Describe a specific concept from the beginning (relating to motor, early perceptual processing, or object recognition). Then, explain how this relates to executive functioning.

Executive functions are referred to as the processes of brain that would be required for controlling thoughts in the brain along with the emotions as well as actions. Executive function are important as these are our cognitive abilities that would be important for the self control of a person, along with an increase in the cognitive abilities as well as the working memory.

Object recognitions n is one of the aspects of executive functioning. Objectrecognition is the process by which a person would be able to identify the physical properties of an object such as their colour or texture. As a result of this, the person would be able to relate the shapes and sizes to other objects, ultimately allowing them to distinguish between the two. Visual object recognition is one of the abilities of humans, where they could identify objects from great distances.

It is relative to executive functioning as there is involvements of recognition memory. In fact, the ability to recognise a substance increases if it is associated with a context that affects the sensory input, allowing for a more accurate recognition of object.
